    In order to study for a South African degree applicants are required to have achieved a South African National Senior Certificate with a degree endorsement. All International applicants with high school qualifications achieved outside of the Republic of South Africa require a certificate of exemption from the Matriculation Board of South Africa for admission into undergraduate studies.

    Applications open on 01 April of the year preceding the year of intended study and closes on 31 October 2023 at 12:00.

     Technical Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) Colleges are tertiary institutions which focus on vocational and occupational education and training with the aim of preparing students to become functional workers in a skilled trade.

    There are 50 registered TVET Colleges located across South Africa and they have now opened their applications for the 2024 academic year.

    TVET Colleges will mostly all have the same application cycles and similar application periods. If you’re looking to study at a specific TVET College, it is advisable to check their websites and social media pages for specific application dates.

    How To Submit Your TVET College Application

    Applications can be done at the campus or online and applicants will have to submit certified copies of their ID, latest results, parent/guardian ID and proof of residence along with their application.
