There are 50 registered TVET Colleges located across South Africa and they have now opened their applications for the 2024 academic year.

How To Submit Your TVET College Application

Applications can be done at the campus or online and applicants will have to submit certified copies of their ID, latest results, parent/guardian ID and proof of residence along with their application.

Will TVET Colleges Take NSFAS?

Students are provided with assistance when applying for financial aid such as the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). NSFAS provides financial assistance to South African students who come from low income households and plan to study at public universities and TVET colleges.

As stated above, these will vary according to the level of your post, and what the teacher you’re assisting wants you to do on a day-to-day basis,  But in general a teacher’s assistant’s job usually comprises the following responsibilities:

• Helping the teacher with lesson planning and admin duties.
