Thank you to Drake Training Academy for their trust and for giving me the time to take the Generic Management NQF 4 course. It was an amazing learning experience. “Knowledge is Power.” I would definitely do it again if I had the chance.
Olga Siwisa, a Generic Management NQF 4 student, highlights learnerships at DTA and the resulting tax benefits.
Tax breaks (s12H) allow companies to get up to R80,000 in tax allowances for each learnership (or R120,000 for each disabled learner). Finishing a learnership also lowers your tax by R22,400 for learners without disabilities or R33,600 for disabled learners.
What you pay employees on learnerships counts towards your spending goals. If an employee earning R10,000 per month is in a learnership, their full year’s salary of R120,000 counts asskills development spending, without additional costs.
The Employment Tax Incentive encourages companies to invest in South African youth, further cutting the costs of monthly payments.
Some companies get double BBBEE points from a single learnership because spending and the number of learners both count towards your goals. If an unemployed learner gets a job, you can earn extra bonus points! This makes your investmentmore worthwhile.
Simani, a Generic Management NQF 3 student, said learning new things was exciting, and enjoyed the friendly class environment.
DTA has a proven track record of partnering with different clients on various learnership programs.
