    The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enrol in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Learnership programme leading to the selected qualification as a qualified Artisan.

    Entry Requirements:

    • Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass),
    • or N2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline Requirements
    • or NCV Level – 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass

    Job description

    The Apprenticeship Programme provides candidates with access to classroom and on-the-job training that will enable them to acquire knowledge and expertise in the chosen trade, as well as, obtain a trade certificate after the successful completion of their trade test.

    The Apprenticeship includes Training related cost, Personal Protective Equipment, Payment of Institutional Training, On-site Personal Insurance, as well as, a monthly stipend. Opportunities are available across our Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging Operations. 

    Permanent employment on completion of trade test is not guaranteed.
