     PURPOSE

    The position exists to assist in the general activities on site.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform housekeeping duties on site.
    • Attend pre-shift and risk assessment meetings.
    • Ensure that the tools are kept in a safe working condition.
    • Report unsafe conditions and behavior.
    • Liaise with management on work-related matters.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety rules and

            regulations as well as operational procedures.

    The Purpose

    To carry out applicable cleaning and/or refuse bin delivery- related tasks. These tasks can include any one or further of Street Cleaning, mounding, Broad, Lane Flushing, cadaver dumping and/or bin Deliveries and other general duties.

    • Clean designated area/ expressways using a broom and shovel and place refuse in bags.
    • Clean all lockers.
    • Report all frequence relating to safety, outfit and injuries to team leaders.
    • Begin waste opting ( including pavements) in same area, formerly road has been swept and eviscerated.
    • Waste pick one side of the road first and also the other side, using applicable tools( bag and trolley); drawing all waste – 12 Clean one side at a time – do not criss- cross expressways.
    • Liaise with members of the public, service stoners and officers of other departments, icing prompt resolution of complaints and queries.
    • Get acquainted with the designated area.

    Mound all refuse bags and remove boxes.
    Collect new/ relief lockers from central stores and load them on to the bin delivery truck.

    Make an entry into the bin delivery register of all the scrap bin journal numbers.
    Discharge new/ relief scrap lockers at place of delivery. Collect damaged scrap bin( s) in exchange for the bin being delivered and load them onto the delivery truck.

    Ensure that guests subscribe for the delivery and are issued with a dupe of delivery damage.
    Duplication procedure until all refuse lockers listed for delivery are delivered.
    ensure quotidian tasks are completed
    And any other tasks as may be delegated by the director.
