    Minimum Requirements:

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Laying of cables for electrical reticulation, installation and electrical service connection maintenance and construction.
    • Moving and handling of heavy equipment for reticulation, maintenance and LPU metering installation projects
    • Planting of poles and construction of overhead lines for reticulation maintenance and LPU metering installation and metering projects
    • Operate and maintain plant, mechanical equipment, tools and sites in a safe manner.
    • Cleaning, sweeping, painting and general maintenance.
    • Comply with safety regulations in relation to OHS Act
    • Assist supervisor in performing work related instructions.

    Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.

    Control, minimise and write up returns according to store work plan
    Avoid out of stock situations at all times and report to AM if it occurs
    Place accurate and timeous order according to the ordering tempo
    Ensure clean and neat products on shelf at all times
    Ensure proper crate and equipment control at the store according to company policy
    Establish and maintain good business relationship with store management, AM, HO, Customers and fellow Merchandisers at all times
    Apply correct shelve control in terms of indicated store and shelve plans
    Pack shelves in terms of the Store Flow as indicated by the AM and applying basic merchandising rules
    Ensure that the fridge is properly maintained at all times
